## Initiatives to Reduce Environmental Impact

Reducing environmental impact is an effort that society as a whole must undertake, and we view it as a key issue in realizing an eco-friendly society.

Regarding the documents and forms used in our business activities, we are working to minimize paper consumption by transitioning to electronic bookkeeping, digital signatures, and other digital solutions.

- Since fiscal year 2022, we have been purchasing green energy certificates as part of our initiative to transition a portion of the electricity used in our offices to CO2-free sources. We will continue our efforts to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.

※ Green energy certificates are a mechanism that supports the widespread use and expansion of renewable energy by trading the "environmental value" of green electricity—generated from sources such as wind, solar, and biomass—in the form of "certificates."
